2011 is turning out to be the tipping point for accessible, adaptive, bio degradable web design and development. All best practices and theories are coming together bringing forth the best of what the web always was intended to be.

Last week I ran into the redesigned website of the NS (Dutch Railways). At first glans I must say it’s very nicely done. The style is kept pretty much the same as the former design. But it appears that some updates have been done in the area of usability. Since unfortunately I don’t have any screen shots of the older design I’ll have to do this by head.
